I dropped in at Pam’s on my way through town because I wanted something for lunch. After perusing the menu, I settled on the meatloaf special, which came with mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn. The food was brought to the table within 5 minutes. The food was flavorful and well seasoned, it was hot, and the portions were generous. There only thing I would’ve liked done differently would be the mashed potatoes, which were packaged instant potatoes. I would’ve preferred fresh, but I understand that that would be a lot of additional effort for little benefit to the establishment. Overall, I would definitely eat there again!
I had a homemade personal pizza with hamburger meat, mushrooms and onions. AWESOME! Great thin crust and wonderful taste! Can't wait to eat the other half tonight! My husband had the special: Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes and corn, and toast. He said it was GREAT! Can't wait to come back. I want to try their homemade steak fingers next! I wish the menu had the prices listed. But our meal with 2 drinks was only $30. Well worth it!!!
I ask for over easy eggs this is what I got busted hard eggs and lady insists those are ove easy then say im funny when I say I want over easy just what I already pay for Then on the bottom are disgusting hasbrown almost black and saggy And cold Coffee out of termus Never coming back for breakfast
Drove through Friona on trip during the holidays. My family ate at Pam’s kitchen. I chose from the food case, everything was hot and delicious. My son and husband ordered from the menu and loved their plates. The owner made us complimentary bacon wrapped jalapeño tacos. They were not on the menu, she was trying them out. They were the more delicious way to eat a bacon wrapped jalapeño. If they are still not on the menu ask The owner to make one for you, you’ll never eat them any other way. I can’t wait to drive through again and plan my timing around lunch so I can eat there again!!
Went to Pam's last night. Had a burger and fries. Burger was good. Fries could have been hotter. Hand cut fries = hand cut style made by machines. It was near closing time so I understand it was late. They do have winter hours so they close at 8pm. Went back for breakfast this morning. Had a breakfast plate. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, toast. Eggs and toast were good. Sausage not so much. Pancakes were good and hot but they gave me butter nuggets and syrup that was straight out of the 32⁰ refrigerator. By the time the butter melted and the syrup poured they were cold of course. They use these mass produced sausage patties that are exactly the same thing that McDonald's uses. To me it's inedible and I'm sure it's full of chemicals. It's the little things. The details that make people think that maybe they can do better somewhere else. All in all to me it was decent but not as good as it could be.
Ordered some chicken tenders which came with two sides. The chicken tenders didn't have much flavor, but the fried okra was pretty tasty! Overall pretty okay, especially for the price.
New location, revamped menu with tons of new items!!! Daily specials and delicious desserts!! The Sunday Pot Roast was tender and perfect for a Sunday lunch! Finished with an amazing slice of strawberry cheesecake. One of the best restaurants in west Texas with something for everyone! Definitely a must visit if you’re in Friona, Texas ❤️
Great family oriented place. I love the friendly staff they always are very welcoming. The owner is just a sweet person I love ordering when she is working she's just the best. Great burgers and their chicken strips are amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone living here or passing through. And did I mention you can eat inside as well yah 10 out of 10.
